Foundation and me have a love/hate relationship. When I put it on its fine, When I take it off thats where problems occur. Why does the one thing that hides spots from view have to create more spots. WHY?
People blame foundation because they sit on the skin a soak into the pores, the way to combat is with powders that won't sink into the pores. Thats where my questions arrose for powder foundations, Sheer Cover? Bare Minerals? Whats the difference?
I wish I could test both but I sadly do not have the finances or the balls to buy both with questionable success, so I have scoped out some online reviews. From the start things did not look good.
Bare Minerals
"It is faffy to apply, it looks chalky but metalic at the same time and very un-natural(total contradiction of what the label says!)"
But they seem mixed.
"I have had acne problems for most of my life and this is the only product that does not make it worse. It covers red spots and discoloration beautifully" Although the same lady did finish her review with
" It does fade after a few hours, and the powder flies everywhere during application. It also smudges on clothes."
So the reviews suggest bare minerals is very promising.
" But I am pleasantly suprised how well it covers imperfections and evens out skintone. I suffer with acne and there has been a definite improvement in my skin since switching to mineral foundation"
All the reviews suggest that its a good break from foundations if you have Acne. But with skin that has the odd imperfection BareMinerals is too flakey. Maybe people with Acne might be able to use the powders during times when their skin is particularly bad.
SHEERCOVER is my next question.
At nearly 50 pounds its not getting a great start but neither is Bare Minerals at £45.00.
But reviews seem to follow a similar partern
". I found the product to be easily applied, although the concealer is kind of cakey around the eyes and your makeup looks really chalky after only 4 hours of wearing it. "
But some reviews suggest the opposite.
"sheercover covers all your red spots and its so easy to put on and you dont feel heavy with powder as i thought you would"
Both products seem like risky buys to me. I think instead of using these new powders continue using a liquid maybe swap to a better quality foundation fit to your skin type most makeup stands will help with that, and to help your skin always Clense, Tone and Moisturise everyday twice a day -Once in the morning and once at night- and always moisturise before adding foundation ( it gives a good base for blending your foundation and creates a barrier to prevent the foundation sinking into your pores. AND Don't Foget to Drink PLENTY of WATER WATER WATER.

Mascara!!!!!!!
I was born with dark hair and brown eyes which means I'm sometimes mistaken for spanish/italian but sadly I'm not that cool, but I am a show so I love playing up my eyes.
This is how mascara becomes my lifesaver! Everymorning without fail mascara is applied, because I am constantly using Mascara I go through it like crazy.
These are some of the ones I have tried. My favourite was of course the Estee Laurder Illusionist, it's bootiful.
Tip always apply mascara from corner to corner. If you like me have trouble with getting mascara on your eye lid and under your eyes a tip is to tilt you head back or tilt you mirror so its facing more upwards this will help prevent mistakes.

False? Me? Never.
One of my ultimate party must have is a pair of false eyelashes. They make that cheeky eyelash flutter to a hot guy oh so successful.
My favourite make are the Narturalite, Eyelure in Intense. They are super full but not tacky at all, so they look very natural.
Tips for application apply eyeshadows first but not eyeliner or mascara. They glue the eyelash strip and carefully lay on the lash line careful to apply in the best place so they fit nicely on my lashes.
BRA'VO
Tights
Now this is a style that I am dying to get involved in.
Printed Tights I love them. They are so girl and a complete statement piece.
I have selected 4 topshop designs that I love, all from £8.00 to £15.00. So Higher end is abit expensive for tights but if you look after them - and you will need to. There is nothing worse than a hole and ladder in a pair of expensive tights - I suggest just being extremely gently.
http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?beginIndex=0&catalogId=19551&storeId=12556&categoryId=124915&parent_category_rn=124912&langId=-1&top=Y
Tip : Never wear tights with holes it can ruin an out. Although, if the tights are bought with holes it can create a very sex and edgey look for going out. As usually its about confidence and not being afraid of the clothes you buy.

Floral/Playsuits
Florals the summer must have and the spring must have... heck the year around must have bring summer sun in the coldest point of winter and complementing the flowers in summer. They are perfect. But I usually am more suit with dresses. But having scowered through my wardrobe I've found an old dress too short to wear without leggings or shorts until I discovered the uses of the SEWING MACHINE. My new saviour. Having inspected upon the dress I decided to cut a slit in the front and the back and make a playsuit by sewing the edges.
These however are not mine .... yet
They are all from topshop. http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?beginIndex=0&catalogId=19551&storeId=12556&categoryId=146486&parent_category_rn=118926&langId=-1&top=Y
Tip I vote wearing these with white lace tights (sold in primark) with little flat ankle boots.
Much love Larly xoxo
Pastels
My new favourite colours are pastels. They're almost the types of colours to give a baby to wear they are pure feminine.
These are my favourite topshop dress in pastels at the moment they are all super cute and girly. Absolutely beautiful love them.

Tip wear these dresses with boots they make them more edgy'er. The outfit will make you feel like a princess that could kick some serious ass.

My modeling
This is one of my "modeling" pictures, taking by my best friend Loren Harvey for her A Level Photography course. She's not a professional and I'm NOT a model but they turned out pretty good. Our inspiration was Lady Gaga's Bandaged look and the title is Masquerade. I hope you like.
If you have any tips for me in my posing go ahead.

Clothes I found in my Mum and Nana's Wardrobe.
These I am particularly proud of, the excitement they gave me. Arhh
-One Escada Black bead'd jumper.
-One Yves Saint Laurent scarf
-One Channel Chain detail scarf
-Two Basler white shirts
-One Channel gold handbag
Not included in the picture:
-One Grey Basler jacket.
I'm soo impressed by their style although my Mum insists that all the clothes belong to her and that my Nana's borrowing technique of borrow and never give back (Okay I might have the same characteristics but lets say I learnt from the best. ;) ) were the cause of Nana's fashionable finds.
All these clothes were long forgotten and ignore by mum because she thought they were too "old Poopey" (her words not mine) but almost all of the new fashions are revived from old fashion trends and all these were top of the line at one point. (I'm sure).
*Tips If you have seen some old style clothes in highstreet or maybe not high street (lucky spuds who can afford) always raid your parents and grandparents wardrobe before buying because you may find it which will be orignial vintage. If you don't have anything in mind always look out for good finds (if your Nana's anything like mine there will be plenty of choice).

Doc Martens Cont..
This is some of the google inspiration I found...
This first outfit was the outfit I wore to christen my boots on their maiden voyage.
I of course didn't have this exact outfit in my wardrobe, I'm not superwoman on the sewing machine but by altering the outfits core pieces I manage to create my own outfit.
I started with a "I "Heart" Itali" T-shirt -one my sister brought me back form her backpacking trip around italy, I generally wear it in bed, because its quite big but it was perfect for this outfit.
I then placed a topshop black body-con skirt - which is the saviour of most of my outfits.
and then I borrowed a pair of long black/brown socks from my Papa, to stick just over the top of the boot.
I'm not sure how girl it was but I think it gave just enough edge and just enough feminine flair.
*Tip: don't be affraid of clothes people will always jugde just ignore the ones you don't like, But always be willing to listen to constructive critisism it can be your best friend in fashion.

Doc Martens
Recently my life has been completed with a pair of white Doc Martens. They are my life. Although these are beautiful and very comfy, I have found it a faf to find clothes which make me look girl and not like a scary motor cycle chick (however much I wish I was I'm not) So i've taken inspiration from google image search and I've found myself fashionable outfit which I can copy and alter to fit my wardrobe.
*so here is a tip if you buy something edgey that is out of your comfort zone don't let it sit in the back of your wardrobe cos' your freightened of wearing it, take inspiration from google and fashion magazines (I know that some of the outfits out there are too far but everything can be altered for the occasion).
Much love larly xoxo
